Trini Trent TV: Rihanna ANTI Album Review

After years of false starts, failed singles and misguided speculation, Rihanna has finally released her long-awaited ANTI album. Here is a quick preview of my thoughts on the record: It is weak.

With repetitive production and a no clear direction, ANTI is an awkward attempt at being deep (?) while saying nothing at all. Well, that’s if you don’t count saying “work” 88 times in one song as having some hidden meaning.

Rihanna and her writing camp took over three years to craft ANTI. During that time, oil prices have crashed, the ebola virus returned, and Donald Trump became a viable candidate for the presidency of the United States.

Is ANTI the solution to the world’s problems? Watch the Trini Trent TV review of the album to find out.
