Earlier this year – in April, to be precise – I shared my thoughts about Rihanna’s sluggish album campaign in a Trini Trent TV episode called No Hits for Rihanna. Now, almost seven months later, ANTI has yet to be released and she is seemingly struggling to plot a plan of action.
According to Hits Daily Double, insiders at Rihanna’s camp have labelled her ANTI project a “shit show” as they scramble to set an official release date. In addition to mounting to competition from Adele and Justin Bieber, the Bajan is reportedly dealing with her own personal pressure to perfect the record, which will be her first on the Roc Nation label.
So, exactly why has it taken more than three years for Rihanna to ready ANTI, and why is it so difficult for her to just wrap the project? How can she turn the situation around? Trini Trent TV is on the case.
