When we first launched Trini Trent Radio, we hit the ground running with a range of topics addressing the various pressures black people face both in America and in the Caribbean. We tackled men’s body image issues as well as colourism in our communities but now are expanding on both topics as we go even further.
In this episode of Trini Trent Radio, we discuss black hairstyles, skin tones, facial features as well as penis, breast and butt sizes. All of these are judged on the microscope of our societies and used to limit self-expression.
These social pressures breed insecurities, and Terry Torro and I both have our own stories to share to help bring the problems to light. We even offer our views on plastic surgery and if we would even consider getting our “flaws” fixed.
