Azealia Banks just can’t help herself. She is always in a feud with someone, regardless of skin colour, sexual orientation, gender or profession.
She rightfully accused Iggy Azalea of cultural appropriation and after their beef seemingly calmed, she reignited it just as it became trendy to taunt the milky Australian. Convenient, right?
However, the list of Banks’ foes is much too long to remember. Jim Jones, T.I., Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj, BET, white people and now, all of black media have been targeted by her as outlets for her frustrations with the entertainment industry.
Yet, from where does her anger stem? Well, it appears Banks has a problem with Urban radio and television not playing her music. Of course, that may have something to do with the fact that her records are difficult to categorise and she certainly does not fit into any contemporary playlist but that’s besides the point…for her.
At this rate, Banks will go down as an artist who had the potential to be great but never quite achieved her potential because she basically sabotaged her success.
Not to fear, Trini Trent TV here and I am offering Banks some advice to turn things around. Will she listen? Unlikely but somebody needs to say it.
