Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson honor Aretha Franklin at the Grammy Awards.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame committee disgraced Donna Summer for many years by refusing to induct her into their legendary archives. Now that the mother of modern Dance music has passed, they have suddenly changed their minds but will continue to disrespect her legacy with a tribute performed by Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson.

Summer will be included into the Rock & Roll Hal of Fame along with several other legendary acts during the annual ceremony on April 18th. The show, which will air on HBO on May 18th, is also set to feature performances by the Foo Fightersm Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins and Don Henley. Among the the inductees are Public Enemy, Quincy Jones, Lou Adler, Albert King with Gary Clark Jr, Rush and Randy Newman.

Aguilera and Hudson will trade wails as they bellow Summer’s greatest hits without any regard for pitch, tone or volume. The pair previously shared a stage together during a 2011 Grammy Awards tribute to Aretha Franklin and although Hudson held her own with a rendition of the Queen of Soul’s “Respect”, Aguilera sounded as though she was kicked in the crotch while squealing “Ain’t No Way”.
