Nicki Minaj’s Pop single ‘Starships’ continued to make a major impact on the airwaves during the last week but its listeners were not interest in purchasing her ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ album. Indeed, the album remained shut out of the Billboard 200’s top 10 for another week.

Since being released in the US on April 3rd, ‘Roman Reloaded’ has sold 475K copies, of which 21K were moved during the last week at the #15 position on the Billboard 200. Interestingly, the LP debuted at #1 on the chart on April 10th with sales of 253K copies. In other words, more than half of the ‘Roman Reloaded’ sales were garnered in its opening week.

However, Minaj has found more luck on the Billboard Hot 100. The lead ‘Roman Reloaded’ single, ‘Starships’, has resumed its rank at #5 on the chart and reached a new sales total of 2.44 million copies.

I think this among other things might be good for her ever growing ego…with her disrespectful ass…

I love how you all give her so much press. Her song starships is doing well and her album went from #21 last week to #15 this week. You make it seem like she is flopping because she is not in the top 10. She is overseas on tour and not promoting this is actually good. Also, the album hasn’t even been out for 2 months yet and most people sell majority of their albums in the first few weeks so it’s nothing new.
Get off her d!ck. Make fun when her album is in the 100s…for now let the girl have her hit album and songs and stop giving her free press.

I think u should be drawing attention to MDNA, something that is truly flopping.

U did the same thing when TalkThatTalk went out of the top 10 for the first time.

We ALL knew that album would come and go and disappear.

Happy for Adam Lambert; he’s one of the best male vocalists around
