With just a couple weeks until the April 3rd release date of her ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ sophomore album, Nicki Minaj has unveiled the official track list of the record. However, don’t expect a complete Pop-oriented effort from the rapper. Rather, Minaj has enlisted some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop and even Dancehall for the effort.

Among the acts who will appear on ‘Roman Reloaded’ are Chris Brown, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Drake and Beenie Man. The record is preceded by the singles ‘Stupid Hoe’ and ‘Starships’. Minaj filmed the video for the latter in Hawaii earlier this week.

See the full ‘Roman Reloaded’ track list below:

    1. Roman Holiday

In my opinion, Nicki Minaj is smarter than what people think (or do not think she is).

She released Starships to satisfy the current trend/popularity of the music market in hopes of it becoming a hit to raise awareness about this album being released. Mission accomplished.

She then released Roman Reloaded to show her Hip-Hop fans that she has not abandoned the genre completely. Roman in Moscow and Stupid Hoe were simply teasers and served their purpose, more so Stupid Hoe than Roman in Moscow.

And now we have this track list where we can clearly see that by the features and some titles that this album could potentially be something that is more Hip-Hop/Rap influenced than Pop. She does always mention to her fans to trust that she knows what she’s doing.

Whether the music is “bad”, “good”, or “great” is subjective to someone’s opinion. With that said, it’ll be interesting to see how all of this plays out. Roll on April 3rd!

This does look promising and i completely understand where @Trav is coming from, but i think ppl esp. true fans are more upset with her antics and her lyrical content of recent versus just being mad that she is going pop…Like if her pop stuff was as good as the old material, then i don’t think people would be so over it. Stupid Hoe and Roman n Moscow just weren’t good, for some one like Nicki who is a lyrical beast. Starships is cool but it is juvenile and is following trends not setting them…On top of the Grammys performance and the over done aesthetic its all too much. I understand she is trying mass marketing but she has to remember that ppl don’t like to have bullshit thrown at them and though she may get high sales her credibility will be shot (read: Lady Gaga)

This Beanie Man song is exciting. That reggae thing works for Nicki & she should exploit it more. But what’s up with all the features jumbled like that? I hope she’s giving me some crisp beats w/ some raw flows. Nicki has the talent. I know she wants the crossover appeal, but she cannot sell out like that.
